May 4, 2022 - It is with profound sadness we
share the news of the sudden passing of Lisa
Dinsmore’s father, Terry Dinsmore on
Saturday, April 30, 2022. We offer heartfelt
condolences to Lisa and the entire Dinsmore
family on behalf of the Senior Elected
Officers, Staff and Ontario Command
Legionnaires.
In keeping with Mr. Dinsmore’s wishes, there
will be no public service.

behalf of the Senior Elected Officers and Staff at Provincial
Headquarters, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Past
Provincial President, Ron Scriven over the weekend. We offer our sincere
condolences to the Scriven Family and friends.
Comrade Scriven was Provincial President 1997 -1999, 1st Vice-President
1995-1997, Vice-President 1991-1995 working with VSS, Charitable
Foundation, Honours and Awards, Leadership, Membership, Bursary, Youth
Ed, Poppy as well as many other committees throughout his Legion
involvement.
We kindly ask that you lower your branch flags to half staff out of
respect for the passing of Ron Scriven.
Service details will be provided once received.
